Video Captioning

Captioning and Subtitling

You can increase your audience by up to 25% simply by captioning or subtitling your training videos, videos used in the classroom, website media, and YouTube videos.

25% of the American population is Deaf, hard of hearing, or use English as a second language.  By captioning your training videos, website media, and YouTube videos you can reach a wider audience and be ADA compliant.  Captioning media improves website indexing and helps your videos be found by search engines.  Captioning your videos also allows the search engine to index the content of your video, so specific phrases and keywords in your videos can be searched for and found.

Captioning benefits all viewers, not just the hearing impaired.  The content of videos and training material is more readily understood and retained if the material is captioned.  Since, many environments are not friendly to an audio feed, having media captioned enables you to access and understand it in any environment where audio may not be desirable.

Captioning is ADA-compliant, and it also lets everyone know that you are socially aware and responsible.
